A work in progress...
Well, this is the first posting by me and my brother...
Current Status:
2.0L single carbed 1976 TR7 victory edition
current modifications and/or adjustments made for daily driving/preperation for a good handling car (soon to be in the local SCCA):
electric fan 14" (pulling) with stock pully-powered fan removed - powered by a switch (yes, a Light switch!) run into the cockpit
All suspension components refreshed with poly-urethane. Springs changed to uprated springs. They were supposed to be stock, but they have many more coils and are much stiffer Vs. Stock.
The dampers are KYBs. Everything else is stock (swaybars, arms, etc.,) and this was all planned so, in that my brother (who owns it) could get a hang of how a RWD car handles before jumping into something that isn't real, you know - learning the principals/basics of driving a RWD stick, etc.,
Vinyl top redone recently because basically it was ripped off and the roof was rusting through. It was done by (shop will be named once I find out the name ;) ) and they did a pretty good job. They even threw in an interior shelf at the back made in the material a lot of the stereo carpetting comes in.
